About Pamela

Purpose-Driven Executive | CEO | Author

Pamela Landwirth is a firm believer that purpose matters. It gives life meaning, provides clarity and focus, and connects us to others. She also knows that companies do well by doing good, and when they show that purpose is as important as profit, they supercharge engagement and improve productivity.

A purpose-driven leader and experienced executive, Pamela has dedicated her career to fueling the greater good. Her purpose is to inspire organizations to harness and unleash the power of purpose and to champion a culture of engagement and service to others.

Pamela is the president and CEO of Give Kids The World, a non-profit resort in Central Florida that fulfills the wishes of critically ill kids and their families, to ignite an enduring sense of hope in their hearts. She works closely on strategic advancement initiatives for the organization and with companies to create charitable partnerships that fuel purpose and success.

As a speaker, she shares her story, the lessons she has learned, and how other companies can use purpose and service for growth.

Her book, On Purpose, explores the value of defining purpose and giving service in companies’ efforts to increase engagement, improve productivity, and boost morale.

Pamela lives outside Orlando and has three grown children.

Achievements, Experience, & Certifications

Prior to her work with Give Kids The World, Pam developed an extensive background in resort operations management, human resource development, and project planning from her experience with the Walt Disney World Company and Hard Rock Cafe.

Pam joined Disney after completing her higher education, around the time of their opening. During her sixteen years there, she was involved in everything from casting to training and development to opening task-force operations.

She left Disney in 1993 and became a consultant to the President and CEO of Hard Rock Cafe in all areas of human resources, organizational development, and strategic planning.

A few short years later, she found her home with Give Kids The World Village, and in 1995, she took over the Village’s operations. Since then, virtually every aspect of Give Kids The World Village has been transformed. The Village more than doubled in size, 11 new venues and attractions have been added, and volunteer shifts have quadrupled. In addition, the number of families served each year has doubled from 3,949 to almost 8,000 today.
